A Little Christian Persecution

RE: A Little Christian Persecution
Well, then you have nothing, sorry. Hearsay doesn't count.

Nobody is forbidding kids to pray in school if they want to. There simply can't be prayers led by teachers and no kid can be forced to pray.

....theoretically -_- *cough*OP*cough*

tireder is not a word.
More tired is correct.

But otherwise, yes, I agree with you.  Fuck theists who think they are being persecuted when they know nothing of the concept.
Could you be even Nazier? (heh heh)
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

Eyerolling, derision, and laughter at the Woo Woo talkers are still in order though!

RE: A Little Christian Persecution
Christian persecution is pervasive where I live - Pacific Northwest - one of the most godless hell holes in the US.

I pass by several churches on the way to the gym. Everyday, there are picket lines, staffed by Angry Atheists, keeping worshipers from their God. There are probably twenty churches within a few mile radius of my house, including a giant mega church in a former supermarket.

The police have to be called out to guide the worshipers to their pews. The chanting outside, day and night, is so loud services are disrupted. It's all the police do in my town and criminals run rampant since they know the police are busy 24x7 dealing with the angry atheist mobs.

It's a nightmare for Christians in the PNW. A Nightmare!

I am the tirederest one of all when it comes gramnazis.  By the time this posts "tireder" may be officially added to the lexicon, English being such a new-word slut.

I've seen it on the news over the last few years, so I can't give you anything other that that, sorry.

Quote:Patterson’s parents, who are devout Christians, told their son to continue reading his Bible because it was his Constitutional right.

Ah, yes, the 69th amendment, every citizen shall have the right to read the bible wherever. Funny how specific the authors were Facepalm

Because I know someone will fall for the Newsnerd story

Quote:There is no school here named Plainview Middle School, as far as I know there is not a student by that name, and I can say with great assurance we would never suspend a child for reading a Bible," Director of Communications Jan Seago -- who so graciously responded to my email while on vacation -- said Monday.

According to The News Nerd website, "The stories posted on The NewsNerd are for entertainment purposes only. The stories may mimic articles found in the headlines, but rest assured they are purely satirical."

Yes, thank you for ruining that for me. Tongue I was pretty sure I could have gotten GC to fall for the same crap I pulled Huggy up on earlier in the year.
