It's official. The universe is dying.

RE: It's official. The universe is dying.
A Big Crunch followed by a Big Bang that then repeats itself infinitely in a cycle
A Big Rip or Big Tear where the fabric of spacetime itself is stretched and torn
And something else too called Death Bubbles that are granular in composition
This is all from memory but is in Our Mathematical Universe by Max Tegmark
That I have read and is an excellent book about the structure of the Cosmos

Our universe is dying? Does this mean it wasn't perfectly designed after all? Well I'm apologists will misrepresent this the way they always misrepresent science that hurts their pleading.

It's our fault. Before the fall, the universe was super and stable and all.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

It still had that 'new universe' smell too.

Come to think of it, is there such a thing as "permanent"?
There was a time when the grand canyon was a plain!
I think because we live very short finite lives, that we perceive many things to be ageless, but in reality nothing is, is it?
Permanency is just a man made concept. So why shouldn't the universe change/age/die like everything else.
