Islamic leaders outcry over climate change

Islamic leaders outcry over climate change
Even those oil magnates seem fed up with the heat:

The Islamic community became the latest to reaffirm a duty of stewardship on Tuesday, when prominent Muslims from 20 countries urged all 1.6 billion followers of the Prophet Muhammad to “set in motion a new model of well-being.”
In the 8-page declaration, signed at a gathering in Istanbul, Turkey, religious leaders including the Grand Muftis of Lebanon and Uganda issued an urgent message to madrasses and mosques worldwide.

To avoid “ending life as we know it,” they called for “a rapid phase-out of fossil fuels,” which scientists blame for global warming. They also urged a swift transition to “100% renewable energy” by mid-century.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Reports say, it was the hottest July in recorded climate history. I guess, they sweated even more than us.

Now, if the influencal Western political morons would folllow suit, it would be rightfully called a miracle. But for that the bribery would have to end. And that won't happen.

I see some oil magnate beheadings in the future. Nah, who am I kidding, they'll still spin the scripture to behead westerners, gays, teens who watch soccer, and women.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

Not characterizing AGW as 'Jewish Science' is a jolt.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Hmmm... Gave up on praying global warming away already? Disappointing lack of faith...

So those in the Middle East want to phase out fossil fuels, eh?

Seems like a slight case of shutting the barn door after the horse already got out, doesn't it?

The climate change deniers are more and more becoming members of a very select group of idiots. Even the people who have the most to lose from abandoning fossil fuels are calling for it.
