I just adopted a dog named Red.  I decided to change his name.

Now he is called "Fred."  It seems to work.

They're not picky choosy. I once called one of mine by his name as well as by "Hund", which doesn't mean anything else than dog. He reacted to both.

We always adopt...I'm deeply involved in Golden Retriever rescue.





We were told that he never jumps on beds.  We quickly learned that he never jumps on beds unless the bedroom is carpeted.  Give this boy some traction and he FLIES!!!!!!!!!!!
