Easy, the girls.  Shame ridden, entirely confused, and completely convinced in their own fallen, lascivious natures.  Their parents and their church had all but taken their panties off before I ever showed up.

I am an highly eccentric person, which is something I love about myself. But church people tend to be folks that like conformity, so I never really fit in there.

Hated church as kid, especially getting dressed up and rushing around to get to church. Although, my dad driving fast on the country roads was always fun. And playing red rover was fun. Going to a church in the city of our rival schools sucked!

At the height of my interest in biblical studies, I was the nerd that took notes during the services. Later, I could be found researching things to death if I had questions and I would compare some things with other religious writings in search of commonalities. There were also those "aha" moments. Also, there was the occasional work of art inspired by scripture, sometimes negative and other times positive depending on what I felt about it.

I think it has been over 10 years since I set foot in a church, aside from doing photographs. As others have said, the architecture is beautiful.

I missing the feeling of ambarassment at knowing biologists think some of them can interbreed with me and produce fertile offsprings. Surely not.

I miss the music. It could really get that serotonin flowing through my brain and the tears from my eyes. Back then, I knew nothing of serotonin, so when they told me it was the Holy Spirit, I believed them. If I gave myself to the music now, it might not make me cry but it still rocks.
