Things aren't all bad for Kansas. There must still be at least forty people nationwide who aren't aware of Kansas's heroic efforts these past 10-20 years to make their public education system a laughing stock.
So they have that going for them.

Yeah, wasn;t that the state where the education system was so underfunded that it was illegal? and when they told the governor he had to provide more funding or else, he threatened to defun the judicial system? I don't know how that went over, but you'd think he'd get impeached for that.

You can only get impeached if the state congress hates you... they love him. Kansas is very, very conservative. I lived and worked in that state for four years, right across from the Capitol Building.

Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.
