Whether you've seen it or not, that's a matter of opinion so I recommend you don't assert yourself in such a negative way. Its not as if everyone agrees with you and I don't see a problem with CR's threads, she does her best and is open and honest as far as I'm concerned. Ok? There's no need to get personal for no good reason.
EVF, I don't take shit from anyone, including you! If you want to acuse me of being negative...go ahead and explain.
Well I'll just say that you refuted what CR said by basically saying that she doesn't have much to attribute to the conversion. That her threads are a time-waster. How can you claim that? You haven't seen her threads to come. If you're going to respond to her respond to what she says and not just attack her contribution to the forum and say she's wasting time. Even when I respond to fundamentalists and say their arguments are bullshit I don't simply say "your threads are a waste of time. "
Saying you haven't seen Katherine Tate is fine. But then to go on to say that she's a time waster. Explain please because I don't see why she is or why you should say such a thing.

I think that things just got a little over heated here and I'm sure that bozo doesn't really think that CR's threads are a waste of time.

Anyway, I enjoy her posts and don't want her put off as I'm training her to be a physicist Wink

Yes posts are getting a little too close to hot headed replys.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence - Carl Sagan

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.

Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.

You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.

EvF, I can claim that , in my opinion ,she is a time waster in the sense that she introduced herself to the forum as being unsure of her faith. In a later exchange that I had with her, she admits that she wants to believe in god. I have seen nothing in her threads to suggest that she has changed in any way or indeed that she truly wants to be convinced that it is highly improbable that god exists.
Now if many of you want to indulge her than that is your choice.
I, however, will not.
If she chooses to make inflamatory ( in my view ) points to me then she will meet with my blunt responses.
Hope that clarifies my uncompromising stance.

RE: What is a god?
The point is bozo that you can't say that if someone is unsure of their faith then they're wasting time. What about all the theists who believe stronger and repeatedly don't understand the same arguments. Isn't that wasting our time MORE if anything? Are you suggesting more fundamental believers or other kinds of theists are more welcome? That they are somehow less of a time waster than agnostic theists? Agnostic theists are welcome too you know.
