Kim Davis?

Kim Davis?
What are people's views of this woman?

No I know what she did is controversial. Every hero starts out that way.

But isn't she entitled to her religious rights?

If she were a Moslem store owner and refused to sell pork or booze the godless would be all over her. If she were a Buddha worshipper and did something funky, the godless would celbrate her. If she were a Wiccan (Witch) and did some voodoo magic as a clerk the godless would love her.

Why is it Christians the Godless hate so much, much more than any other "religion?"

They should celebrate this woman's free expression and religious exercise in the name of "tolerance."

Just wow. Going to the clink because of your religious faith?

Its like we are living in Rome all over again...

She's a sick psychotic bitch and you probably run over to her house for 3 a.m. booty calls on a regular basis.

She has the right to believe in christianity, and not marry another woman if she wants, but she has to do her job. It's like the saying "Your right to swing your fist ends at my nose". Gay marriage is legal, so when someone comes to get married she needs to do it. It's bad enough that she refuses to do it, but she's also keeping other people from doing the same. That's something people tend to get fired over.

There was a story about a muslim cashier who refused to sell pork or booze once. He was moved from that position, and his bosses had the right to. When you have a job, you do it, or you get repositioned/fired. No employer has to put up with your crap because you think some part of your job is uncomfortable.

She didn't go to the clink for being christian. She went to the clink for imposing her beliefs on others. There's a difference.

I think all muslims should work where I do. That would be a barrel of laughs.

It's quite simple, and its basic high school civics.

She is an elected official, sworn to execute the duties of her office, which includes issuing licenses to everyone permitted by law. She is not empowered to make policy or exercise personal discretion in the matter. Period, end of.

If she had any fucking ethics at all, she would have resigned.

If she can't or won't do the job she is elected to do, she should be removed.

Her opinion doesn't matter when it comes to her job.

Do I like performing emergency surgery on the drunk who has just killed a young girl because he was driving while intoxicated? (yes this has happened).

No.

But I did my job because 1. It's what is required of me and, 2. Because I took an oath.

I was thinking bad thoughts about him before and after the surgery, which saved his leg, but during the surgery I had to concentrate on actually doing what I'm trained for.

Good example of not letting your personal beliefs get in the way of your job.
