I can see both sides of the argument. But at the end of the day we can't turn away people who need help.

Wat does it say for their respect for innocent human life when their SOP tells them to hide amongst and behind innocents as part of their military strategy? We're dealing with people who don't play within anyone's rules.
Not sure there is an answer.
Let me ask a philosophical question.
If the west didn't get involved in their dealings ever, would the middle east be a peace loving theocracy?
Or will their own versions of region cause this turmoil from the inside anyway?
So basically, barbarians who haven't progressed are just doing what barbarians do.

But then no country in the west is peace loving, the some of most barbaric attacks on humanity have been done by the west, just with better technology.
I think that the world would be better off without the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. The old regimes would still be there but I have a feeling ISIS wouldn't, and the citizens of the west wouldn't have had to pay all the money it cost to go to war.
What happened with Bin Laden is similar to what's happening now. One man with a team of a few men who shares his ideology attacks the twin towers. The answer to the problem is to bomb one of the the worlds poorest countries. Saddam Hussain is taken out and I don't keep up to date with politics much but I don't thing Iraq is now a peaceful democratic country.

You think ISIS is worse than, just as one example, Saddam? I see very little difference between a dictatorship like his and a dictatorship like theirs. We should let people fuck other people over because it's just too expensive to stop it? Remind me not to call on your for help, ever.

I don't see how your proposal really works. Why aren't we redistributing wealth by the majority of the extremely poor population around the world then? I've been needing a job since 3 months ago. No one gives me a job. So what happens?

Just read the news sources on what they tend to vote into office. There's no reasonable discussion to be had in Europe anymore. Nobody disputes that this flood needs to be regulated, but not in the way the rightwingers want to make us believe. For me they're as revolting as any radical. Out of all the countries whose news pass on many newspapers I read, I think Switzerland is one of those I rarely know anything about except that my girlfriend's mom works there and makes a lot of money. I do know a while ago they voted some law to restrict immigration and that they're fond of direct democracy measures.

republican governors have announced that they will not allow Syrian refugees to enter their states and they want Obama to tighten up borders and there should be a religious test for refugees coming from Syria . heres what Obama said about it how we should have religious tolerance and accept all religions history of religious freedom throughout history and gave a speech about acceptance http://www.cnn.com/2015/11/16/politics/o...index.html
which is good and fine and brings warm fuzzy feelings and is PC ,acceptance and tolerance and love i get it but he does need to tighten up borders around DC since ISIS did promise that would be their next target so thats fine hes being tolerant and fair but there are religious people wanting to attack people so at least monitor these refugee immigrants that are coming from Syria and other war zones its an easy way to get into the U.S.

I don't think it's such a black and white issue. I couldn't tell you if ISIS is better than Saddam or vice verse because I don't live in Iraq and it depends who you ask that question to who does live there as to what answer you're going to get.
Saddam Hussain ordered the killings of a lot of people (probably not as many as Richard Nixon) the leaders of ISIS order a lot of killings. Saddam Hussan was relatively secular compared to ISIS, but that isn't saying much since even Al Qaeda supposedly say ISIS are too extreme.
If America wants to stop everyone fucking everyone else over in the world first of all it would be pretty hypocritical to suddenly do this now after America's history of fucking over other countries. Secondly it would pretty much be pointless and futile and definitely result in an economic disaster.
That's not to say charitable aid and some use of force is out of the question.
