Finally something is being done about the noise. It's the only mod I want to do on my 360 when it goes out of warranty, replace the noisy fans with a larger one and better ventilation.

My kids want one and they already have two 360's 250gb is a big step up from the 20gb they have at the moment.

They'll have to save their pennies.

because it's a toy for grown-ups. wait, not that kind of toy. :/ Maybe more along the lines of-- it shouldn't look cheap.

but I agree it looks pretty neat.

Makes me wonder why they can't build these things first starting out. If I had my way if a company built a console and then released a slim or mini version they'd be penalized retroactively on the old consoles produced for wasting materials and energy.

They didnt have the technology, now they do.

Its only recently with the Jasper chipset that the 360 didnt over heat readily.

I've had two fixed because of the red rings of death.
