I was just playing Devil's Advocate. I know that a lot of people think the war in Iraq was a joke. I know pretty much everyone I've ever talked to about it thinks it's a joke. I just never really looked into what the actual history behind the Iraq war was. I feel really dumb right now.

My grievance isn't with that, it's not actually based on prejudice against religion. What I have been seeing, through what my friend has been telling me, is that the refugees are coming over to their culture, they're taking over countries like sweden and turning the areas they move into into ghettos, getting priority housing from their government and turning one of the places they belong now into the rape capital of Europe. That is just what I heard.

I have been hearing a lot of people telling me that in this thread that I have something against their religion. Sorry, I should have stated more about my thoughts on the refugee thing in the OP of this thread. I don't think that I was thinking about the reason why I was against it deeply enough when I made the thread, I guess I wasn't really in a serious mood, but I am now. 

I actually went to a panel discussion that my mom put together in my city. It was a panel talking about the ways we could help refugees in our city, which has been chosen as one of the cities in america to support refugees. I don't have a problem with the people coming into america who are refugees. They go through a lot of background checks, we have a system in place that actually takes care of them and puts them through our school systems. I have always been on board with the american refugee support.

So I guess there's a lesson in here that I always seem to have trouble with. When I represent my points of view sometimes, I think that sometimes I may paint myself up as being more stupid than I actually am; give the person I'm talking to some idea that I'm more pathetic, so that they really drive the ball home. I don't know why I do that to be honest, but now that I think about it and feel more focused, I realize that I haven't been representing my points of view very well. Sorry, I have attention issues.
