I dig that, too, for a guy. My uncle (likely about 50, but similar body type, will do jeans, a classic arched block college tee [usually Cornell, his alma mater, but occasionally Gonzaga], and then a plaid button-up shirt over that. I like that look (I need some jeans. I can employ that look!).

I'm a bit on the short side so.... 5-7 or under(not a deal breaker though). Dark or red hair, length doesn't matter. Fair skin. Little body hair. Nerdy looking.
