The ones you eat aren't cool at all though, nothing like the pets.  Mean bastards.  




Basically the difference between eating Lassie and eating Cujo. I don't think I'd eat an aquarium turtle..first I thought "meh, not worth the effort" but...bluecrab..so....

I think all turtles are pretty damn cool. I'm not entirely opposed to eating one so long as he's not related to Evie, though.

That's a subtle distinction you're trying to parse there.  Looks like you're saying his relatives are out, but he is not.
