Should the Poor be helped?

RE: Should the Poor be helped?
I should be angry because he's making us Christians look bad on purpose, but it's too funny not to laugh lol.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Then give me all your money and belongings, then I will go happily to hell while you sit in heaven (bored shitless I might add).

Is being a poe really this much fun? Seems like we've gotten a lot of them lately.
Verbatim from the mouth of Jesus (retranslated from a retranslation of a copy of a copy):

"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you too will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. How can you see your brother's head up his ass when your own vision is darkened by your head being even further up your ass? How can you say to your brother, 'Get your head out of your ass,' when all the time your head is up your own ass? You hypocrite! First take your head out of your own ass, and then you will see clearly who has his head up his ass and who doesn't." Matthew 7:1-5 (also Luke 6: 41-42)

I should think yes, if it is from charity, such as dropping a dime or two into the homeless man's styrofoam cup.

But should there be an active effort to end poverty? [...]

Yes. We should take all the aborted christian foetuses and feed them to the homeless. We can tell them it's shrimp...

Poe's Law describes poes that are actually good at emulating whatever they're spoofing. This punk is an obvious poe.

Which you'd think would be a contradiction in terms.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'
