Evidence for quantum mechanics: see mach-zendher interferometer, interference.

Evidence for color to a blind person: have someone else perform some task that depends on the perception of color.

DUH.

You get your head checked.

On a more serious note, I don't expect any self-proclaimed atheists to find it compelling. Atheism is fundamentally an emotional position, not a rational position. You might have no rational criticism of any of the arguments, or even understand them.

But you just don't FEEL good about believing in the existence of God.

So I'm not surprised. If you really want to figure out what's next, it would be to lay your feelings aside, think like a rational person, and figure out if there are problems with the argument.

And it would also help to get over your irrational feelings. But that's a long shot.

Actually, what's next is we have a turn at telling you what you think, believe and feel, then telling you how wrong you are when you try to say otherwise.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

If you think I'm wrong, and you can produce some actual reasons and evidence, I'm all ears.

Heck, at this point I'll take any reasons at all in this place. I don't think my expectations can go any lower.

And that process of rational thought, Rhythm, will undoubtedly lead you at last to a belief -- not in a deistic god -- but in a magical Jew (oh, sorry, Son of God) who rose from the dead and loves you very much -- but might have to punish you horribly if you don't believe in him -- because some people made some claims a long time ago.  You see, it's in a book.

You know . . . reason.

Oh no, by all means, believe things concocted by a hormonally imbalanced herd of intellectually stagnant, socially inept uneducated 13-year-old basement dwelling panty-sniffing furries that call their home atheistforums.org and are mad at God because mommy dragged them to church on sundays and didn't let them play xbox.

That's reason right there.

Or should we stop mischaracterizing people? Wink
