Ooh! This is my line of work.

I work with a parasitologist who teaches paleo-parasitology at his university, I am in nerd heaven when I talk to him. He has done some digging around in those ancient latrines and the ID work, too. Parasites are COOL.
If The Flintstones have taught us anything, it's that pelicans can be used to mix cement.
