I think i got it..

So.. the reason why Iran is the country the way it is. Before all of shit went down they were a democratic nation  
there was a few people  who wanted the Oil and it's profits to be for the people. Then you have the UK who wanted the oil
and asks for the US help in staging a coo the get rid of those in power to put a puppet in power to get cheap oil.
So that being said the reason why Iran is a shit hole is because the UK and the US pretty much fucked it up for oil
and  our dependency on it. In reality we can undo what we did in the past now and it would not over night change things
but it would be a better start.

Pretty much, they overthrew a reasonably democratic government and installed a dictator who tortured everyone. And then a bunch of Islamists had a little revolution which turned it into the shithole it is today.

I mean we can't do anything with irradiated oil if we want oil that  bad we just take over a country.
