RE: The Wussification of Wisconsin
(as a former Wisconsinite I am allowed the following observation)

So, the powers that be sobered up long enough to notice something amiss in Cheeseland ?

Tongue
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

It's high school sports and they are trying to promote sportsmanship. I have never seen a high school that encouraged its students to taunt the other team, this is definitely Fox news making a mountain out of a mole hill.

I'm also trying to understand how chanting 'U.S.A.' is even a thing in high school sports, let alone being so prevalent as to merit concern.

Any team with every member a trophy-holder must be training for the Olympics.

European soccer matches can turn into an all out war. Or at least they could. I remember watching the massacre at the Heysel stadium live on tv. Got british teams banned for a few years from playing in continental Europe. After a few more streetfights and destruction, police took to funneling fans like cattle into the stadiums and keeping the sectors seperated.

Speaking about chauvinism and sports.

Which team are they actually cheering for in that scenario? Do they even know?
I am John Cena's hip-hop album.
