I support Syrian Aid. But is there any hope of a post-Assad state that isn't a Shiite/Christian free jihadist playground?

As bad as he is, it seems essential to keep Assad or at least his Baathist state in power.

The dummies in Washington are spending $Billions to get rid of him.  They are amazed that so many Syrians continue to stay loyal to him and support him although they suffer tremendous hardships every minute.  They thought it would have been a sure thing after Egypt and Libya.
