In short, WLC's arguments are, first and foremost, simplistic; for Craig, the Kalam argument is simply a "means to an end," that is, converting those who maybe are "on the fence" over to evangelical Christianity, along with helping those who are "in the fold" from leaving it; hence, Craig can distort the truth and misrepresent the views of scholars with minimal blow-back from "the flock". His supporters are not very studious anyway and are not into fact-checking Craig's claims and/or statements.
