You Can't Disprove a Miracle

RE: You Can't Disprove a Miracle
I died last night.

Rose from the dead this morning to an obnoxious beeping sound.

It was the Lord saying "Your yoke may be heavy, but your work here is not done child."

I got dressed and went to work.

Prove that it didn't happen and that humans come from monkeys. Go on.

Ah, testimony and anecdote. Pretty hard to prove, can be disproved under the right conditions.

Example homeopathy: Very hard to prove, very easy to disprove.
Example a "vision": Very hard to give independent proof as only limited people had the vision, can be hard to disprove as you didn't see the vision.
Example a "medical miracle": The event happened so it may be easy to believe. The pre and post evidence may be brought into question and therefore the miracles believability.

Last night a DJ saved my life.

Does that count?

Wait, if we can't find a Biblical precedent for Constantine's "vision" then doesn't it follow that the subsequent making of Christianity the official Roman state religion under Theodosius I (not to mention the Council of Nicene and the settlement of what constitutes "The Bible) is bogus? And if that's bogus, doesn't it follow that the Protestant Reformation (of which Drich is a latter-day descendant) is also bogus?

Doesn't matter what club or "version" you subscribe to, all god claims are naked assertions. You might as we be arguing for the existence of Yoda.

At the age of 16, I shagged Betsy Corcoran in her father's garden shed and we didn't get caught. What is the Biblical precedent for getting laid in a garden shed?

(and if I had a pic of how Betsy looked at 17, you'd all agree that this event was a miracle)

As I always say, disprove Bugs Bunny visiting me the other day. It's me saying it, so it has to be right.
