Foot footnote: Don't ask ancient hebrews for directions, they took forty years to traverse an area an arthritic granny could traverse inside a month.

Hmph

I dunno you christian dirt bags keep breaking the constitution forcing religion in the government and schools.
The constitution was made to prevent the catholics and any sort of religion holding a place in the government like England
did in the old days.
Ah... no.

The Constitution forbade Congress for making any law for or AGAINST The Free Practice of Religion. That truly means Congress Should not be allowed to say anything about when and where religion is practiced.

Lots of gray hair and empty seats!

Consolidation minnie. ever heard of mega churches? They are replacing the smaller neighborhood churches like the one pictured.

Where do you think the members that fill the stadium size churches come from?
Joel Osteen's church (not a fan btw) has a weekly attendance of 43,500 people. How many little churches have to be all but abandoned in that region to fill joel's mega church do you think?

Yes, the Bible is on its way out. 100,000,000 sold every year--but I'm sure they are just bought for research on how ridiculous it really is.

No, they are bought and never read.

Of course that would be the conclusion if you drink the cool-aid that atheists are somehow enlightened and the other 90% of the world are somehow duped or dumb.

I'm not enlightened at all. I just wasn't indoctrinated. Big difference. I had nothing to be enlightened from.

Yes there is separation of church and state. The founding fathers were deists if they were alive today
more than likely would atheists considering. They made sure everyone is free to practice religion
and what ever religion unlike in England were there is a forced set belief. That being said back then the church
had power in the government they didn't like that either. That being said we have church and state separation
because they didn't their new country to be a theocracy.  Just because the majority of  religious in the US
is christian doesn't  mean they should have power over anything same goes with every other religion. Were
not a theocracy we will never be the end.
