Of Mice and Men...

RE: Of Mice and Men...
Trust me on this, C/L.  After you have the kid and get no sleep for a few months the nose will be the least of your problems.

And don't be too disappointed about missing the appointment now, once you make it through the sleepless-zombie phase, you'll want to redo it anyway Big Grin

Probably its the anestesia, not really the spot of the surgery.

Yeah, the doctor refused to do the surgery because he said the anesthesia could kill the baby.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

You could have toughed it out and had the surgery without anesthesia?

First of all, ummm, what?? I'm pregnant?? I hadn't even missed a period yet. My period wasn't even due to start for another few days.

The rhythm method ain't all it's cracked up to be.

Congratulations on your impending motherhood, sweetie.

And about the surgery, maybe now you understand why protestants are pro birth control  Angel

The funny thing is we were trying to get pregnant for a few months, but it wasn't happening. So when the surgery was scheduled, we just stopped trying but didn't think we needed to abstain during my fertile time to avoid it. We had kinda come to the conclusion that becoming pregnant would be a difficult thing that we'd have to work on.

Go figure.

I have heard it before.. the second you stop trying is the moment you get pregnant. I am so happy for your news. The surgery can always happen later  Heart
