Men do not get a fair deal when they do want custody and are willing to fight for it. That is very true and even though it has improved I think we still have a long way to go on that.

Interestingly, because of our culture, a lot of times the mother doesn't want custody of the kids but no one asks her and she ends up with full custody when she'd have rather just had every other weekend.

According to our culture (and all cultures, really) Women are supposed to be natural caregivers and are softer. Meanwhile men are emotionless and have no time for their kids because they're too busy breadwinning.

And that is the narrative, created totally by men, that puts men at disadvantage in child custody battles.

When someone claims to be a victim of "social injustice", they are basically saying that standards don't apply to them and other people owe them.

I honestly don't know how you can generalize like that.

I didn't fight for custody because it was overwhelmingly likely that I would lose for reasons unrelated to my gender, it would have been financially ruinous for both parents (particularly my ex) and both of us up to our eyeballs in debt from a custody battle is certainly a detriment to our child.

On balance, I didn't fight for custody because it was better for my son if I didn't.

It certainly has nothing to do with wanting nothing to do with my child, nor do I see sufficient reason to suggest that this is the case "most of the fucking time".

Or they're saying the standards are inherently unfair and/or arbitrary and should be changed.

If someone is complaining of a social injustice, they're saying the standards don't apply at all. Most societal standards are stupid.

Maybe your life sucks because you are an idiot, not because you are a man.

Some of those stats are extremely suspect to say the least.
