They Continue To Pick Up Trinkets
from the Temple Mount excavations.  Some years ago the muslim oversight commitee (the Waqf) on the Temple Mount decided to do some renovations/construction and much dirt was removed and dumped in a landfill.  Israeli archaeologist, Gabriel Barkay, organized volunteers to being sifting through the debris and they have made some minor finds.  The story of the Temple Mount is that Herod the Great built the platform by erecting retaining walls and then filling it in with dirt.  There is thus no archaeological context for any of these finds as they were moved first in antiquity and then again to the dump site.  So we have to be happy with whatever we get.

Quote:A rare amulet more than 3,200 years old bearing the name of the Egyptian ruler Thutmose III, Pharaoh of the Eighteenth Dynasty (who reigned from 1479 – 1425 BC) has been discovered at the Temple Mount Sifting Project located in Jerusalem’s Tzurim Valley National Park within earth discarded from the Temple Mount.

Here is where history departs from bible fantasy.  Thutmoses III was real.  He conquered Canaan and set up Egyptian rule for 3 centuries.  We have actual evidence for Thutmoses III unlike the bible's fucking exodus bullshit story.

The bible-thumpers can choke on it for all I care.
