Alleged Weasel heroically sacrifices himself to stop LHC
What it says in the headline...

Poor thing was turned into charcoal.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
Psalm 14, KJV revised edition

IIRC, the beam energy has been compared to an artillery shell.

Surprised just charcoal.  I wudda thought 'reduced to a glowing fog of atoms, er, subatomic particles' would have been the result.

It wasn't caught in the beam Smile
It just chewed on a power line...

Oh, found a reference.

Critter chewed a power cable. Hell, we've had squirrels get zapped here on the power pole, and charcoal is a pretty good descriptive.

I suppose it matters little to the weasel if it was a power cable or the full flux of the accelerator . . .

Probably not much of a difference.. Well, the full beam would have probably instantly vaporized it.

Are we still saying "alleged" even though we know that fucking weasel is guilty as shit?
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

I'll bet it was a Christian fundamentalist weasel, trying to stop the advance of unGodly science.
