Hillary has to pick a woman for VP, right ?
If something happens in her first term (blood clot thing comes back?) she can't have it set up for her default to not be a woman. The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Wasserman-Schultz would be the worst choice she could make, there is no way she picks her.
Boxer maybe, although if she's going for the all-female ticket, she should pick Elizabeth Warren to nab some of the less idiotic Bernie Bros. Cory Booker for the diversity, likeability, and shore up the the moderate vote.

Nothing to do with gender, it's about compatibility. Bernie is not compatible IMO with Hillary as her VP, and I think he sees that this would not be right for him.
Probably so. I think his time is quickly passing, though. He's pretty old, if she wins the presidency he's got to wait 8 years before he could run again and he'd be in his 80s. If she asks him to be the VP, I truly think that's his shot to effect some of the changes he wants to bring to the table. Citizen's United needs an amendment, and if he makes that his one and only goal during his VP-cy, then he could gain some success.
