What's interesting is that, at one time, the Middle East was a great cultural center. This area produced invention, art, architecture, and education equal to (or better than) anywhere else in the world. But, since the rise of Islam, this area has become an educational and cultural desert. Can anyone name one invention that has come from an Islamic country in the last thousand years? These people are more concerned with killing anyone who doesn't subscribe to their fairy tales than they are with making their lives better. That's why I fear these morons developing nuclear weapons. They will have no compunction about using them. They may die in the conflagration that follows, but as long as they kill you, they're satisfied.

I might disagree about most of the world living in the 21st Century. I forget the exact numbers, but I recently did a research report on FGM and it's around 6000 girls per DAY (in Africa alone) that are being subjected to genital mutilation. Millions of women across the globe are experiencing this at astounding rates. It's really sad that shit like this stoning, while absolutely horrifying, does not surprise me.

In other news, in Iran, there is a woman who was mistaken to be that girl who was shot during the demonstrations several months ago. I believe she had to flee Iran because the secret police were questioning her.

A friend of mine posits that perhaps Iran was planning to show her off in some form of propaganda to make themselves seem less monstrous.

Then again, the Basij need more targets I hear...

I heard about someone running experiments to find out. It might have been a TV show, I can't remember.

But they said the only way you get killed by weed is if a 30lbs bag drops from 8 stories high. lol 'high' n////////////////n Please excuse mah immaturity.
