Humans are attracted to happiness and confidence. Enjoying your time and mostly forgetting about women is by far the best way to land one (in my experience, anyway). The more interested you seem in getting with someone, the less likely it is that anyone will maintain an interest in you. You don't want to seem inaccessible; you do want to seem as if you're too busy having a good time to worry about whether there's a woman on your arm.

right on thanks guys, hey do girls like beards? tbh i dont like facial hair at all!! i prefer to be clean shaven...i mean i think some people can pull off beards, like scott discik and zayn malik, but overall i think clean shaven looks better. also my foacial hair is pretty patchy and looks messy so in general i look way better clean shaven.

You may as well be yourself, it's a strain to be anything else that in itself can be a barrier to being attractive.

I'm a little over 5'5". When I was younger and much better looking, I hardly got any 'action'. Now I'm older, fatter, and wiser; and somehow still ten times as attractive as when I was a short but otherwise strapping farm boy. Looking back, I can see it was shyness, lack of confidence, and undeveloped social skills that put me behind many of my peers romantically. Probably being brought up in a strict Pentecostal household and moving an average of twice a year had a lot to do with my lacks. But it was nothing that experience couldn't fix. Eventually I was floored one day by a younger friend expressing envy of how naturally being a (not the) center of attention at a party came to me.

It's VERY important not to become bitter towards women for not recognizing what a catch you are. No one owes you anything when it comes to love or sex. Bemoaning that women don't go for nice guys like you doesn't help, and trying to be 'one of the bad boys' won't either. Genuine confidence and not taking rejection too personally goes farther than looks. No one is everyone's cup of tea.

It took me about 20 years of only getting laid when I was hard up enough to lower my standards (which never led to anything I'm proud of, but I needed to learn lessons there, too) before things turned around for me. I'm sure you can do much better than that.

The most mind boggling thing when it comes to getting girls is when you want to get girls you don't but when you reach a point in your life where you are, meh, when it comes to girls, suddenly every girl you know will want your attention and affection. You'll get texts from girls trying to get you to go on a date with them but you won't, since you wouldn't care at that point, you'll have tons more interesting things to do than girls.
What you have to internalize, and probably the most important thing when it comes to relationships is that relationships should only be a complimentary to your life, not your life.

So, let me add to the chorus that says you should try developing your own confidence in yourself. Not just to attract women, but for just about all social interactions. If you're not comfortable in your own skin, why would anyone else be comfortable around you? Keep in mind that confidence isn't arrogance. It's not a false show of 'manliness'. It's just you accepting the parts of you that you like while recognizing and working to fix your flaws.

Work on yourself first. Figure out who you are and who you want to be, for your own sake, and move from there. The rest will fall into place naturally.

While I don't support it as a religious document, I do think that pretty much everyone should study the Bible as literature. Some of the poetry is just so beautiful...so moving...Ill be in my bunk.
