The end of the world in Quran

RE: The end of the world in Quran
(May 28, 2016 at 4:42 pm)Cato Wrote: Let me see if I have this straight. People ask if Mo knows when the end of the world will be and all he really says is you'll know it when it happens.

Deep fucking thinker that Mo was.

Actually, it's a useless question because each and every one of us will see the end of the world WHEN THEY DIE.
That's why the Quran describes those sitting around, asking about the end:

Sura 51
( 10 )   Destroyed are the falsifiers
( 11 )   Who are within a flood [of confusion] and heedless.
( 12 )   They ask, "When is the Day of Recompense?"
( 13 )   [It is] the Day they will be tormented over the Fire

Deserves a moment of thinking, to be honest, Cato
Like...invest your time in something? we already know when the end comes: it comes when we die.

Welcome to where you're going.

It's not useless when the asshole went into great detail telling people how they ought to live out of fear of what happens after the end. Not to mention the detail in the description of what happens to those who don't do as they're told. The bullshit that you posted after can be summed up as, "shut up and don't ask questions". Mo wasn't a prophet, he was a tyrant.

Christ on a cracker, please learn how to use the hide function to avoid block quoting like this, and generally it is best to only quote the portion of the reply you are responding to. - SC
I am not trying to be sarcastic, the reason I asked that question is because it was completely obvious that you were jumping into nonsensical conclusions about the video, and about me, without even seeing the video, or knowing who I am. which is know as, yes, prejudgment. your answer was completely off the subject, so did I really have to answer it? I don't think.
When did I say that I was Sunni or Shia? when did I say that I believe in Mehdi or the Anti christ, were they or any of these myths even mentioned in the video? No, but you just assumed they did without even watching it, what do you call that? prejudgment, right?
And I did write what the video is about, it talks about the end of the world according to Quran, again, I did not write that it talks about the end of the world according to Hadith, according to sunna, or according to Shia, read read the title again!
Also it looks like you replied to every single part of my reply, except the last one, where I tell you that you were wrong, the video does not talk about Sunni or Shia beliefs, actually its maker, who is a physicist and an engineer, does not believe in them, which is one of the reasons he made that video.

Need to work on your self righteous indignation skills.

And you need to work on your argumentative skills.

Looks like they censored the link, great!
Here it is again for people who wanna criticize the idea, not the poster:

The god character gets pissed when people ask too many deep questions.

RE: The end of the world in Quran
Every religion even those of Asia and the Orient and India, have their stupid concepts of what happens at the end of life and what happens to humans ultimately.

These are all myths. The end of our species will happen at some point. But the worst way we could get to that point is to needlessly chase that utopia because of the myths of antiquity.

We can certainly kill ourselves off needlessly from a nuclear war and or pollution, but that wont be because of some old traditions, but our human ignorance that those old traditions have nothing to do with modern problem solving.

But even if we get smart now and stop being so stupidly tribal, we still have things like meteors and comets to worry about hitting our planet and that is not a matter of if, but when. And even before our sun runs out of energy and collapses or expands and fries our planet, odds are we will be long since extinct before that.

The best that humans can do right now is seek to extend our finite ride.

Christo

I'm sorry. Apologies, I'm sorry. I know about Mr.Kayalli; I'm sorry. I jumped quickly to that conclusion, may God forgive me. Just know, that I saw a lot from Sunnies and Shia, I thought you're here to spread that propaganda that burned my region.

About Kayalee, I disagree with some of his stuff, also his exessive end-times stuff, I hold my view: nobody know anything about it. But can't claim he knows nothing about the Quran; I think talking with him would be interesting though.

Accept my apologies, Christo. Please, pardon me. I'll go chew on my pillow now, hoping that God forgives me

The verses I quoted in my last reply to you: it states directly that only God would show the hour; neither Mr.Kayalee, nor Mohammed -peace be upon him-, not you, not me, know anything about when it would come; Christo.

It will take us like surprise; just like death. Kayalee should focus more on the verses that orders Arab dictators to quit killing Muslims, and tell humans to stop violence against each other, verses that kill the extremist concepts of terrorist Wahhabies, verses that orders us to feed the poor (maybe that would help Africa?)..stuff like that.

End of times debate is useless..

Logically, it will be very useless -very- to spend your life sinning, then just moments before you die, you repent..so useless now, is it?
But if a certain question is useless (i.e you already know its answer), God should tell us, he won't be a God if he didn't do so.

No. You can ask. You need to, actually, to get rid of any attachements to masters other than God. But, when somebody keeps asking about the same exact thing,  that  they totally know the answer for, the same useless question, well, that would be a shame now.

It's like...salma doesn't want to love you. You keep asking salma "why !!!"..salma tells you: "I just don't !"..5 minutes later, you ask salma: why don't you love me??

Well..that

It indicates that your question is not actually a question, it's an attempt to make salma love you !
