I don't care much for scents, on myself or other people. My missus, however, likes it when I wear D&G Light Blue, so when I use scent at all, that's the one.

The scent I mainly use is Lacoste Style in Play and I love how that smells, it's subtle. I also use the Paco Robanne One Million, but that one's a bit dated now since I've been using it for years.
Subtle and sweet-smelling scent is definitely the way forward. I can't stand musky scent, or really overpowering ones.
Also in response to the opening post - Allegedly there's something about hormones or something in human sweat and body odour that attracts the opposite sex. I don't know how exactly, I can't stand body odour, it's vile.

To right. I've smelled far too many women who were wear what was clearly

Good hygiene and judicious use of deodorant does the trick. I don't think assault charges to be unreasonable if one's scent can be detected at 12 inches; a reasonable distance considering the close proximity demanded by public transportation. Reasonable exceptions can be made in circumstances where all willing participants should reasonably expect otherwise; e.g., a gym.

I do not wear perfume of any kind BUT I do love the smell of lemon verbena and I have in the past had some oils blended for me of lemon verbena and frangipani. I used it very sparingly but it was delicious.
****Seriously people... can we stay on topic. Is it really that hard?
This thread is about "what you like" in cologne or perfume, not how fast you can denigrate women.

'Douchappotamus' is my new favourite word. I plan to start using it at least daily. Thank you sincerely, Thump.

I hate perfume. It always smells terrible and sour to me.
