This reminds me of Batman v Superman debates. Maybe the iron chariots had a lot of prep time and access to kryptonite?

RE: God vs. Iron Chariots
-Yahweh is powerless against iron
-Yahweh creates a place to imprison his enemies
-This prison is supposedly at the Earth's core, according to some
-Made of iron
-Ruled by an evil genius
-Who has no incentive to punish the evil-doers sent to his domain

In summary:

Yahweh creates a fortress lair for his arch-enemy, made from the one material he is powerless against, and routinely sends him an ever-increasing army of the most wicked and evil humans in history. It's like a Bond film plot by someone who never saw one all the way through.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Deuteronomy 20:1-4
1 When you go to war against your enemies and see horses and chariots and an army greater than yours, do not be afraid of them, because the Lord your God, who brought you up out of Egypt, will be with you.
Also, if a supposedly all powerful god's will is superseded by a chariot, then he isnt all powerful.

Nope.  Iron is a complete arse kicker to Yahweh.

That's why he had his little Israelite minions

What's there to debate? Superman destroys Batman. End of. It's not even close.

Let's just make sure iron never goes out of fashion, and he'll keep leaving us alone.

Oh, that's probably why churches must be decorated with all that gold... I imagine Yahweh's not too keen on tin, copper, or brass either. Tongue

Glob..

It's connect the dots for the Atheist, With everyone's favorite apologist DDDDDRich!

Ok, in my last post I explain God with them=/= Win!

God with them means God over saw their loss.

So why would God want them to loose? Again this story is about the Judges or things and people God used to judge or punish the Jews for their unfaithfulness.

So what does all of this mean? "Iron chariots" would have mowed down or obliterated their whole army. Rather than a complete destruction 'God with them' means God saw to their 'limitation/loss.'
