Why do Christians believe in the Resurrection of Jesus but not alien abductions?

Nitpick time again, I'm afraid, but the nearest solar system at all is the one we are sitting in. No other has a star named Sol.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Why not accept alien abductions as being a real phenomenon, at least by the "standards" of Christian belief?
Do you have a clue how far the nearest solar system is that might have intelligent life capable of building interstellar space ships?  None of them would try to reach us because it takes too long and takes too much coal.  Besides, the spaceship would have to be perfect in all aspects.   Based on human history the civilization that launched such a space ship would have died out by the time it reached Earth and their world would be completely different by the time it returned to it.

I agree that interstellar space travel is not without its difficulties; clearly, any advance civilization undertaking such a venture would need to have developed some sort of controlled nuclear fusion, but if such a technology exists, then, yes, interstellar space travel would be possible.  And, also, you have to consider the effects of special relativity; if a space-faring civilization could reach speeds that are near the speed of light, time dilation would set in, and then, some sort of micro-regenerative cryogenics may be possible using some sort of nano-technology.  Who knows?!  Can you imagine a world without smartphones?

I remember watching an episode of "Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!" with my kids years ago, and in one episode, it was stated that the "nearest star to Earth" was "Alpha Centauri".

In my experience, the same people who advocate for praying away the gay believe in haunted houses, UFO's, and alien abduction.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

Yep Stimbo nailed it. Many believers do believe in "alien abduction" however its most likely demonic activity. Its recorded all throughout history. Look at how many ancient cultures recorded it in everything from cave paintings to temple art.  From North and South America to Egypt and throughout Asia, all claimed to have direct contact with "sky people" or "gods"  and these "gods" all seemed to have a weird preoccupation with serpents.  The book of Enoch explains it in great detail and its also mentioned in Genesis. Some Christians think these are from another dimension, rather than from a distant galaxy somewhere.  The scientists that discovered the higgs boson particle believe they have discovered new dimensions as well. These thoughts and opinions are not widely held by the majority of Christians. I speak for myself and a growing number of us.

...was that real?
Verbatim from the mouth of Jesus (retranslated from a retranslation of a copy of a copy):

"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you too will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. How can you see your brother's head up his ass when your own vision is darkened by your head being even further up your ass? How can you say to your brother, 'Get your head out of your ass,' when all the time your head is up your own ass? You hypocrite! First take your head out of your own ass, and then you will see clearly who has his head up his ass and who doesn't." Matthew 7:1-5 (also Luke 6: 41-42)

To be honest, wall paintings are more ambiguous than the written word, so far as translation is concerned.
