End time fanatics have been seeing signs of the second coming for 2,000 years. I think the prophecies were purposefully vague so that every generation will be convinced it's in the last days.

The collider may just be the latest excuse to holler. I remember in 2008 the morning Obama was first elected president, there were folks running around my neighborhood with picket signs talking about the antichrist. Anything will do.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

I may defend your right to free speech, but i won't help you pass out flyers.

I remember Y2K. It was during the last stages of me being religious.

i think the CERN collider might be causing something big, it's scientific based, it's not voodoo magic.

What's wrong with spelling seriously the way it is supposed to be spelled?
