Atheism addresses the existence of god(s).

The false dichotomy of creationism versus (theory of) evolution is presented almost exclusively by theists. I don't think I've ever heard an atheist make such an obviously flawed statement.

What if I told you that the Theory of Evolution is not the reason I'm an atheist, nor is the idea of common ancestry? I'm an atheist because the various god hypotheses have not met their burden of proof. Even if common ancestry and/or the Theory of Evolution were turned on its head tomorrow, that wouldn't help the god hypothesis one bit. The path to atheism is studying religion.
