Ask an ex-mormon nerd
So some people always happen to have tons of questions regarding my previous religious background so feel free to ask away via this thread or private message. Let's talk!  FSM Grin

Does the church claim to have the plates and stones? Can they be seen?

What is the big deal with genealogy?

Did you wear the magic underwear?

Denial...or perhaps the great use of omission. No one talks about touchy subjects like that and poor explanations are always given when asked. There are apologist and church articles trying to explain it but really...it strays from the common theistic question "if this is God's church why didn't God tell them not to?" But instead it just plays on the tools of conjecture. But that is my opinion. I try not to understand it anymore because I can't really understand anything regarding mormonism anymore.

You may find that understanding it, embracing it in fact, will only strengthen your resolve against your former belief. Just pushing it aside with no thought of it whatsoever is rather reckless, for it is an allowance whereby it can sneak up on you unawares and bother you. The best way to get rid of anything truly uncomfortable is to outright confront it.
