No open minded sceptic would deny that an intelligent creator is a possibility. You're asking for something that's already granted.
And there's the little problem of what difference it makes to anything. This is still the same place I woke up in yesterday, whether it came about by natural causes, or has always been here, or is a sandbox for some bored external being.

I'm not the Logic Bomber, but as i understand it, a false equivalence is stating that two things are essentially the same and may be treated as such, while conflation is the grouping of two or more disparate things.
They're related concepts, in that they're both rooted in a category error.
False equivalence: Elephants are herbivores, zebras are herbivores, therefore elephants are zebras.
Conflation: Elephants are herbivores, wolves are carnivores, but since both are mammals we can treat them identically.
