First and foremost, his accent is really pissing me off. I thought he was an American, because he doesn't sound like one. Secondly, if he knew about all that goes on within Islam, why on earth did he stay there for nigh-on 15 years. Was he that oblivious to reason and logic? All he had to do was do some research on the subject before joining. As for being an apostate, he made his bed, he lies in it. Joining an extreme religious group wearing blinkers and not listening to any reason from friends or family gets you into a whole load of trouble.
I thought Ismaa'eel was American too, at first. The Cult of Najd does nasty things to the mind and body, so I was so happy to see another person left it. Fifteen years ago the World Wide Web was not what it is today; finding out if you're being lied to was not so easy back then. People are trying to dismiss him whilst at the same time pooping their pants over him because they now need that Iman booster after watching his videos so they want all the famous Da'is to address him. So pathetic.
