Alright everyone, we have our Week 1 predictions all set. You can track everyone's scores throughout the week on this spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1...sp=sharing

As with last year, there is a non-human competitor "Wisdom of the Crowd" which looks at everyone's predictions and chooses the team that occurs the most often. Their predictions this week are:

Panthers vs Broncos. I go with Broncos. Orange with blue trimmings on white is a bit better than black with sky blue (also a nice colour combination).

Buccaneers vs Falcons. I go with Falcons. They’ve both essentially got the same colours, but fuck me I hate the detailing of the Buccaneers jerseys. Keep it simple, stupid.

Vikings vs Titans. I go with Tennessee Titans. Again with the stupid details Minnesota, plus purple does work, but you should learn the lesson of I Viola and give it some proper detailing. Tennessee’s sky blue and navy is a good combo.

Browns vs Eagles. I go with the Eagles. Yeah their shade of green is too dark. But when a team gives me the deep hurting of remembering this kit (plus having a pretty horrible brown/orange kit combo), no way am I picking them. I’ll not subject you to Hull City tiger print kit, I’m not that evil.

Bengals vs Jets. I go with the Jets. But apparently the city of Cincinnati is, grrr. The Jets actually use their dark green colouring a lot better than the Eagles, setting it off with a decent amount of white.

Raiders vs Saints. I go with Oakland. Yes, yes I know that the Raiders are the Milwall of American Hand-Egg, but black and silver is soo much better than black and chicken yellow.

Chargers vs Chiefs. I go with San Diego. Red and yellow is an awful combination, and of course I cannot resist the blue and gold combo of the Chargers (being my club’s colours), though the blue should properly be royal rather than navy.

Bills vs Ravens. I go with Ravens. Now there’s how you work the purple Minnesota, get some offset colours in. Bills, blue white red might work on flags, but never on jerseys.

Bears vs Texans. I go with Bears. Navy and orange works, the splash of colour offsets the dark main well. Navy and dark red doesn’t, there is a reason why you don’t pair different dark colours Houston.

Packers vs Jaguars. I go with Green Bay. Green and gold, classic combination (especially with massive beard). Black and aquamarine not classic at all. Plus the blue and gold third kit.

Dolphins vs Seahawks. I go with Seahawks. While their detailing is way too fussy, and I suspect the shade of green is an evil glow in the dark variety, it’s not aquamarine. Dolphins, get a new colour scheme, pink is more manly and it’s very Miami.

Giants vs Cowboys. I go with Giants. Two middling kits, but the Giants have a bit of colour about them, whereas the Cowboys are drab.

Lions vs Colts. I go with Lions. Blue with a small bit of white vs blue with a small bit of silver. I go with the Lions as the silver is more distinguished.

Patriots vs Cardinals. I go with Cardinals. Red and white is the winningest colour combination. Plus the Patriots jerseys are lifeless.

Steelers vs Washington. I go with Pittsburgh. Yes, I said black and yellow doesn’t work, but that’s only with the lighter shades. Plus the third kit Kilkenny GAA, only in hoops format, is classy. Never been a fan of Washington, drop the racist connotations.

Rams vs 49ers. I go with Los Angeles. Despite doing an MK Dons, the Rams colours are nice, blue and gold again. San Francisco, what have you done. The classic Red Gold combo was great, but you’ve washed out the red and made it too light. Gold needs a strong colour to combine with it.
