It amounts to a bit more than not knowing 'the specifics about Aleppo'.  This is a city that is - at one and the same time - the chief battleground of a civil war that's be going on for five years, and the epicentre of the WORST refugee crisis in the world today.  To answer 'What is Aleppo' indicates a disdain for both world politics and the daily news that should have Johnson supporters fleeing like hares from a lurcher.

Presumably people aren't voting for Johnson because they think he will be president. It's a protest vote against Hillary and Donald.

If you spend even a modicum amount of time reading about what's going on in the world, you would know about Aleppo. To not know what Aleppo is at this point, you pretty much have to have been living under a rock for the last five years.

 4 years, and in the last 4 years Johnson has been CEO of a marijuana company. So I think there might be a reason he doesn't know. It doesn't matter though, because like I said, Johnson is a protest vote.
