Well, I live in Europe and this type of rhetoric is rather alien to me. I guess it is an American thing... Big Grin
Can you tell me more about it?

Propaganda! Conservatives have been beating this message so effectively for the last 30 years that liberal is now an insult in the common venacular. They have been demonizing liberals on Fox news, talk radio etc. rather than engaging in healthy debate or communicating what conservative principles represent.   The rhetorical shit spray really increases every fourth year.
God thinks it's fun to confuse primates. Larsen's God!

Sure.
Moral compass = you agree with all the same ideologies that I do.

Human laws guide me to the extent that they coincide with my own moral compass, by and large. If I were on a deserted island, I would not begin raping, murdering, stealing from, and abusing others, simply because I could.

You might, I wouldn't.
And come to think of it, you with a god would turn to doing these things if these laws were lifted. Yet, me without a god wouldn't do these things even without the laws.
Hmmm...

My moral compass always points to the nearest red light district. Am I doing it wrong?

Perhaps you should invest in a Magic 8-Ball --

RE: Your moral compass
Alot of believers invest alot in their moral compass to a point where they thing that their lifes happiness is a egotistical and dirty thing, but doing good is the way to become friends with God and earn divine rewards.

Ateists seek to survive and thrive and dont care about afterlife. So, there is no need for strong morals. For example, majority of the wars are started in the name of resources/money, which is purely animal thing based on instincts.

Wrong, wrong and wrong again.

The pursuit of money being an "animal instinct thing" is particularly wrong although quite funny I guess.

Just popping in to point out that ridiculous over-generalisations aren't useful.
