Yes, slightly.  The Saudis are considered "allies."  The others you mentioned are considered "enemies."  By the way, that's Venezuela.

Then it's high time we stop considering them. The amount of "allied" assistance they have given the US/world ain't worth the price.

Russia/Soviet Union fought alongside the United States in the two world wars and they are considered an enemy. Meanwhile, Saudi supported the 9/11 attackers and they are still considered an ally. So much so that Obama will veto any attempt by families of those that died to sue Saudi.

I always find it bizarre God needs so much thug enforcement to have his will done.

One of the reasons I don't drive is because of Saudi. Yes, I help the environment too. It was quite telling when there were reports of Saudis trying to sabotage the Paris climate talks. These people are too stupid to survive the post-oil age. Credit the U.A.E. for at least giving the illusion that they are a 21st century country and making it into a rich person's playground. I am sure Dubai will continue to prosper as Riyadh crumbles.

That's awesome, I respect that.

I constantly advocate for the development of non-petroleum based energy sources so we can do exactly that.  Then fuck them.  They can rot with their oil.  But let's get to that happy situation first before slitting our own throats.

Based on this import data I think we can get it else where and say fuck em.

Drumpf aside, who seems to think he can create Festung Amerika, our allies are far more dependent on imported oil at the moment than we are.

Of course, with all this fracking shit going on we are poisoning ourselves but the energy corporations don't give a fuck about that.

RE: Saudi Arabia Law
I totally agree with what you're all saying for sure, it seems that the UK and US getting their precious Saudi oil and minimal intelligence is worth being allies with a state that directly funds terrorism and whos religious ideology was the catalyst for a great deal of modern terrorist organisations. I think the point about Russia being considered an enemy even though they were allies through 2 world wars, while Saudi supported 9/11 and they're our best mates is particularly apt.  Clap
