Oh, those were both fun moments. Coming out as atheist caused a long argument with my parents that they eventually never wanted to bring up again. Coming out as transgender got me entirely blacklisted. We don't talk anymore.

That's terrible, a person should not be blacklisted from their family over such a thing. I'm sure it's more complex then that, since I can only speculate my feelings having no experience with the issue directly. I did have another question about that world though and I've never had the nerve to ask it till recently. If your at a bar and a guy comes up and starts talking to you in a flirtatious manner, does males to female tell people that they are transgender?

I hope I don't sound like I'm a transgender phobic person by asking that question. If you don't want to answer it's alright, I've just always been curious on how that situation is handled.

And only if my cat is being a brat.

Like if it peed on your mat? Or tried to wear your hat?

My cat isn't that bad, but it reminds me of a story. When I was still on good terms with my parents, I would occasionally visit them. They have a cat who loves to pee on anything belonging to visitors in the house. I got tired of that happening, so I packed my luggage in my waterproof military duffel bag next time I visited. Just before I had to leave, the cat of course peed all over it and left a big puddle on top. That cat was not expecting me to dump its own piss back on top of it, but that's what it got. That cat never bothered me again.
I don't believe you. Get over it.

I'm not sure how to answer that in the context of bars, since I never go to bars. I really don't like public places with noisy people. I'm not a fan of strangers hitting on me, either.

Do I personally tell people that I am transgender, though? If I know someone, they know my history. I'm very open with anyone close to me. I have no reason to hide anything.

That's good that your able to trust those close to you, no one close to me at the moment knows any of my personal history. I was just using the bar has a example of common place where men flirt with woman.

How do you like living in the south west? I've considered moving there, or maybe just snow bird. Give me some of the pro's and con's.

Borrow what? Whatever it is, yes. Just return it later.

I have mixed feelings about it. There are no opportunities here, it's too damn hot, education is sparse, there are no good bodies of water, and nobody knows how to drive. On the other hand, the food is wonderful (unless you like seafood) and the people here will usually treat you well no matter who you are. I like it enough to stay here for a while, but I am definitely starting to crave some new scenery.

Disabled military veteran. I'm currently enrolled in an internship program as a housewife that may get me hired full-time.

What is a housewife that can be internshipped? I was under the idea that housewife meant you stayed in your own house and just lived (unless you aren't rich in which case you also clean and cook) Is it something like a housekeeper/maid/butler kinda thing?

It's okay. The cheeky tone of my voice never does quite work through text. There's no internship or anything like that, of course. The joke is that I am not employed.

I clean, cook, and do anything else that needs to be done around my house while my boyfriend (who also lives here) goes to work. I have the house part down, but not the wife part (yet).

I've been wondering this for a while. What's with the double "S's" in your name?
