Many writing tutorials agree that one should use strong expressive nouns instead of piling on adjectives as often as possible.

How elaborately do you work out character bios, back stories etc.? How do you approach a project, do you first construct it systematically or do you just start to write and see where it takes you?

How many books have you published?
Do you write under a pen name?
Is it your day job?
How many hours a day do you devote to writing?

I remember when you posted some of your writing here! Did you take some of my advice? It looked like a great start. Have you been continuing with that story, or have you been writing various other things that have come to your mind? How often do you write? Who is your favorite character you've come up with?
