It's pretty clear to me that Jesus would probably hate the United States. Which completely goes against the right-wing narrative.

"According to James  1:27,  'Pure  religion  and  undefiled  before  God  and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.' So wouldn't this scripture imply that you being a "pure Christian" would mean accepting the most vulnerable of Syrian refugees?"

So little things like FACTS don't deter you from making such a self righteous judgement?
Like there is almost a 4:1 fighting age men to women ratio in this so called refugees? Meaning "widows and orphans" are not among the immigrants coming over I say Immigrants because a refugee is someone who flees from a war torn nation to an adjacent neighboring country. To come across the Atlantic is to immigrate.

The fact is ISIS is running over Syria because the Syrians (fighting age men) don't care enough about their country to fight for it. So then why should we?

I agree we need to stop ISIS first. if we can do that the refugee problem solves itself

You were a fighting age man once, chest thumper.  Pick up a gun at any point?  No, ofc not.  That would take the sort of courage you see as lacking in others. On the day that your house comes crashing down around you at o-dark thirty...and you have to cross a damned ocean to find a place that will even let you in, albeit while do-nothing natives such as yourself bitch about it and you to high heaven.....then you'll have room to opine about the courage of others, and what does and doesn't matter to them.

Until such a day-

I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

No one is chasing me out of my home. I've got plenty to defend myself with whether it be from a foreign or domestic threat. My point is if these 'men' do not have this attitude then why should we about their homes and families? Further more why should they be given anything else?

Strange, because you've spent the entirety of your time here telling us how america is going to shit, how shitty people are ruining it, and how we're all being pulled away from the one true god.  Sounds serious.  Yet, you never so much as picked up a single rock....or did you?

It doesn't matter what sort of lethal bric a brac you have laying around your house.  What you require is the courage and will to use it.  Which you don't have, have never had, and will never have.  It takes a real and incurable coward to point at suffering people as a screen for one's own inadequacies.

If it were up to me, I'd give them -your- fucking house on principle alone...and deport -your- silly ass to where they're from....you know, to be the tough guy you so obviously are. Maybe you can show them all how a real man handles business?

So at the very least could we let in all the widows and orphans in?

What's your opinion on letting refugees into the US?  I hear this a lot, but the person bringing it up up never states their opinion on the issue.  In many places in Western Europe, their policies have opened up many new problems for current citizens.  I desire to help all the needy, but am unsure if just opening up the door and letting everyone in is the best solution.  Just bringing them to new place may get them away from immediate harm, but not solve all their problems.  We've seen it can also lead to physical harm for others as well.

How many people in the US have been killed by Syrian refugee terrorists? You are worried about a problem that so far does not exist.

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.
