nope,  it doesn't, It also does not equal "nothing".   Its why I will always claim both sides have it 1/2 correct and it becomes a problem only when we start forcing beliefs, or lack of beliefs, on others when observations do not support them.  There is no god of the bible, or any other omni-thingie, but past that we don't know, but "something" is there.

Might want to look in this direction: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holomovement

The holomovement is a key concept in David Bohm's interpretation of quantum mechanics and for his overall worldview. It brings together the holistic principle of "undivided wholeness" with the idea that everything is in a state of process or becoming (or what he calls the "universal flux"). For Bohm, wholeness is not a static oneness, but a dynamic wholeness-in-motion in which everything moves together in an interconnected process. The concept is presented most fully in Wholeness and the Implicate Order, published in 1980.

we've all lived very long lives. even 20 years is a long time to think about the world and the mysteries behind it.

many people go with what they were taught, some go with what they see. some see this, and some see that.

every civilization has come up with god in some form or another.

isolated tribes still come up with gods even with no influence from the outside world.

a step back in evolution, or maybe...a step forward.
"Satan, who is the god of this world" 2 Corinthians 4:4 hath blinded the minds of them which believe not

It isn't necessarily the case that god belief is superior in any way whatsoever. Ditto that going back to god belief will provide for those who not inclined toward belief even the minimal comforts which it seems to provide for some of the people who have always believed. And don't forget that it is far from established that god belief confers any benefit whatsoever upon the believer.
