You'd have to ask them -- I'm a tuning fanatic. I'm also fanatical about intonation, and have done my own setups on all my guitars for the last 25 years.

But not this version, yuck.  The one he did for that big Dylan concert .. that one.

Johnny's a badass, and a fellow Texan, to boot. There ain't many who can do a slow blues better than him, and his slide playing is great too. I don't care for his tone in that clip -- a little thin and wiry for my taste. To answer your question -- there are songs I prefer, but "better" is in the ear of the listener.
