Which is more attractive? love or death?

Death is far more disgusting, I'm certainly no necrophiliac, but love also ain't the biggest turn on... unless we're havin' slow romantic sex. The hardcore stuff tends not to be lovey dovey.

This is the part where you don't know whether to laugh or give a peculiar look (or both), dear reader.

Being human around other humans can be a burden...at times I love to carry it, other times I'd love to be free of it.

I plan to be relieved when I die Wink

Andrew Marvell and I are in lockstep on this one.

Well, the point is, your question is very flawed. It's basically Pascal's Wager. Even if you consider this dichotomy legitimate... what afterlife exactly would it be? What if Islam turned out to be right about it... then you're not prepared for it, even though you believed in an afterlife, but the wrong one. That's why the question is pointless. You can use it to argue for any religion's version of 'life after death'. You can't possibly be eligible for all of them.

To answer it personally though - I think it's better to act according to all available data. And none of what I've seen has convinced me that an afterlife is possible or plausible. So I won't buy into any version of it 'just in case'. If you've come to different conclusions, hey, none of my business is it?

There is a reason I stated "I believe in God, not religion" under religious views.

Religion is a man-made construct, so while Islam is not the correct way, neither is organized Christianity. One must meet God personally, no religion can help you in that regard.

Which, won't you agree, is also a specific version of a religious claim. A more inclusive one... but still lacking advantage over any other such claim. This doesn't really solve the conundrum, because the question is equally as valid for your belief as it is for any other. Personally I'd pick your God over the islamic God or the Jewish God. But they are equal when considering the question.

Rhythm

One of the main causes that make people religious, is taboos, because the holy books keep discussing what the living don't want to talk about.

I can twist the question a tiny bit, to point out to the fact that nobody knows what's coming after death. Nobody at all.
Saying that it's an "eternal sleep" is pretty outdated, it's not like humans understand what life is, until this day doctors don't know why we sleep.

I would love to hear the ancient's opinion about the modern discoveries of outer space.

Love has many different types; even between males and females. Romance and sex though, are  parts of certain love categories; actually they are quite few. And if you applied religion on the whole process, the number decreases even more, Muslims are prohibited from adultery for example.

Some love experiences are long, some are short (aka crushes).
Summing up love in sex is one negative thought Hollywood loved to spread.

It depends on what you expect from God. Others pictured him as a Jesus on a cross, Zeus with a bow, a pile of burning fire...etc
The smartest -Check China's religious history- actually knew him:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shangdi

In terms of the data, he did represent himself with so many creations. Give me a civilization that didn't know the highest deity?
Their problem was that they loved to forge the truth, and engulf other deities with him.

The available data were always spot on. But were we?

Though, expecting God to be a kid playing is a disaster. A deity that made this whole universe, is of course a deity that knows and understand true excuses. Why always expect that God doesn't understand?

What's not to love about death? We owe our modern "life" to much death.

After the rush, boobies become boring, at least for the duration of the re-charge.

Imagine if life followed a peaceful route; if humans were less blood-crazed.
I think we would get a better conclusion than "modern life".

I'm sorry man, but I have no idea what you mean. Could you paraphrase?

Twist all you like. It still remains Pascal's wager, rife with all its flaws.
