Nope.

I just took it to be a warning to the world at large.

I cannot for the life of me pinpoint what the first song I ever heard on the radio was. My guess could very well be this:

Comparing the Universal Oneness of All Life to Yo Mama since 2010.

I was born with the gift of laughter and a sense the world is mad.

Here's another one from my childhood, again from my dad's collection.

Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

And this one, which is my favorite Beatles song.

Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, Tony Bennett, Sinatra, Sarah Vaughn,, Elvis, Carl Perkins, Duke Ellington,  Dean Martin, Miles Davis, Johnny Cash, Ella Fitzgerald, Hank Will!iams. I listened to those records and wore the grooves out. On the radio we listened to the Beatles, jazz, bluegrass, rock and rhythm, John Lee Hooker. Mozart.

Lord, I can't stand this song ... such a change of tone from their earlier stuff, they sure lost the Philly soul around 81 or 82.

A song that was big on the radio when I was ten or so:

I could listen to their old stuff all day.

I also remember some older neighborhood kids blasting this:

Another biggie when I was, oh, eleven or so, was Rumours, from Fleetwood Mac. There are a couple of songs on there that really rip me up even to this day.

Probably the third or fourth album I bought.

You know I'm having so much fun with hearing all this early music I almost started another entitled:

First 45 (or track) and LP (or CD) you bought.

Was going to wait but what the heck.
