Snapple diet raspberry tea ?
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Fear of hell isnt the worst shit out there. Goverment steals and sents its citizens to go to war against other countries purely out of greed and lust or economical reasons. I think, in time of crisis religion helps goverment maintain public order.

Better to sue them for fraud because they can't substantiate their claims.

I don't fear hell. I'd take much more offense if somebody wished I'd develop a potato allergy....or an egg allergy

It seemed to cover my opinion pretty well, so I liked it and didn't reply a repeat. That said -- I value freedom of speech and conscience and think the government should avoid intrusion upon those freedoms unless public safety is endangered.

As for the forum, many appreciate a good laugh.

If you're here in the U.S., you'd be wasting your time. And I'd probably agree with them. I guess the best you could possible hope for is to sue on the grounds of emotional distress, but then you admitted that as an atheist you don't believe in Hell. And then you'd have to pick one church where the pastor specifically said that if you don't believe then you're going to burn in Hell. If you tried to name "Christianity" as a defendant, you'd be as loony as that crazy lady who tried to sue all homosexuals on behalf of God.
Christian apologetics is the art of rolling a dog turd in sugar and selling it as a donut.

To us atheists this is not a real threat. But anyone that is open to the idea of god will take the threat seriously. To outlaw the usage of hell and eternal torture would be a big blow to religion as they can not effectively indoctrinate people any more. Would this be a defensible position?

Can you hold religions responsible for the speech of individual members? I'm not a lawyer so I'm not sure. The TRJF might know.

Now, if you could convince the IRS to remove their tax exempt status then you might really have something.
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.
